I've been wanting to stop by for a couple years and I was finally hungry enough, and the wait was worth it. I had the Philly Special so I could see how they make a traditional Philly Steak, compared to when I'm in Philly. I was impressed.
I like both Whiz and Provolone, but I had provolone, along with the onions, peppers and mushrooms. Not bad. The roll was fresh with a good body. Not too soft.
The best part was that they didn't scrimp on ingredients. There was more than enough meat. A very generous portion. Cooked just right and not dried out. Very tender. The sandwich is large enough for 2.
We will definitely be back. Whiz next time! Good job guys. -

Hole in the wall place you would never notice if you werent looking for it. I believe a lot of people are fans because even with zero curb presence, there were 4 cars in the drive through. The inside is really, really small. Maybe 3 tables crammed in there with little to no room. Extremely sterile. Everything was brushed metal.
Staff was really friendly and helpful. Seemed like they were having a good time making food and joking around. Brought out our food and everything we needed.
Menu is pretty big with a lot of options. Almost all of the sandwiches are just meat, meat and cheese, or you have to add toppings a la carte. No drink machine, just a small selection of juice and soda.
I got the Philly Hoagie with provolone, my girl got the Philly and added provolone. Sandwiches were pretty big. Meat wasnt really seasoned, but I added some pepper and it was really good. The hoagie comes with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. The bread was crisp on the outside and soggy on the inside in a good way. I got an order of french fries and they were cooked pretty much perfect. The only knock I have on this place is their ketchup. It was super strong, tasted fake as hell, and pretty much ruined the fries. Definitely need to go a different direction there.
Overall, if you want a great sandwich really fast on your lunch break served by a great staff, Straight From Philly Steakout will step up. -

recently stopped to ease a craving for a cheese steak and was much happier this time around.
sandwich came out promptly, was hot, had good flavor and was not diced into small pieces which was my issues from before. it was cut better for sure. when I bit into the sandwich it didn't have a mush texture.
hopefully it stays that way. I'll be back again I'm sure -

ummm.... let me finishing chugging this water bottle first...... okay, done!
This has got to the the saltiest Philly Cheese Steak I have ever eaten in my life!!! I wasn't able to have more than 2 bites. 2 stars because the fries were perfect, but other than that, this place isn't on my "come back" list
Not recommended for people with high blood pressure, all that salt will make it worse! -

I haven't had a REAL cheesesteak from you know, Philly, but this cheesesteak was delicious!!! The portion is huge and they top off the bread with massive amounts of steak. The steak is not dry at all, and the melted cheese that's intertwined with the steak compliments it perfectly! I usually eat half and save the other half for a later meal because that's how big it is. If you like a hint of spice and that pickled flavor, add the peppers they give into the sandwich! You won't regret it!! If you don't, the sandwich is great as it is. If I'm taking the sandwich home, which I usually am, sometimes the bread will be a little soggy just because of the meat but don't fret, there's an easy fix. Scoop out the meat and (re)toast the bread. Voila! The sandwich is even BETTER than when you first bought it.
